Governors

We are very lucky to have a full complement of Governors with a diverse range of backgrounds and experience at our School. Our Governors meet monthly during term time (nine times a year) to discuss school business. Governors have lead responsibilities for different aspects of school life.  All of our governors are volunteers, who provide their time generously without any remuneration or rewards, attending meetings, undertaking school visits and supporting various school events throughout the year.  The Governing Board is made up of Foundation Governors (appointed by the Bishop), Parent Governors, Staff Governors, a Local Authority Governor, and supported by a Clerk.  Once appointed, a Governors’ term of office lasts for 4 years.  Full details of the roles and responsibilities of our Governors, terms of office, their business and financial interests and attendance at meetings are available in the tables below.
