RE Home Learning

Religious Education homework is carefully structured to support children’s spiritual and moral development throughout each half term, encompassing three key elements of Catholic Life: Prayer, Catholic Life and Mission and Religious Education.

In Week 1, pupils focus on the element of Prayer by deepening their understanding through writing their own prayer in a variety of styles, encouraging personal reflection and creativity. In Week 3, the focus shifts to Catholic Life and Mission, where children complete a task linked to the Catholic Social Teaching theme of the half term, responding thoughtfully to ideas introduced during the CST assembly. In the final week of the half term (Week 6), pupils engage with Religious Education through an end-of-topic homework task, which may be written or creative, enabling them to consolidate and express their learning from the RE topic in a meaningful and engaging way.
